1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StoreVitals ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StoreVitals provides automated ecommerce store health monitoring, including website crawling, issue detection, and health scoring. The Service scans publicly accessible web pages that you submit and generates reports based on the findings.

3. Account Terms

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may only scan websites that you own or have permission to scan.
• You must not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• One person or entity per account. Shared accounts are not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scan websites you do not own or have explicit permission to scan
• Use the Service to conduct security vulnerability scanning or penetration testing
• Attempt to overwhelm target websites with excessive scan requests
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service beyond our provided APIs

5. Payment Terms

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
• All fees are in USD and non-refundable except within the first 14 days (money-back guarantee).
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions honor the current price until renewal.
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after a grace period.

6. Plan Limits

Each plan includes specific limits on stores, scan frequency, and pages per scan. Exceeding plan limits may result in restricted access. You can upgrade at any time to increase your limits.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by StoreVitals. Your scan data and reports belong to you. We claim no ownership over data collected from your scanned websites.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that scan results are complete, accurate, or error-free. StoreVitals is a health monitoring tool, not a guarantee of website performance or security.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StoreVitals be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Cancellation & Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page.
• Upon cancellation, your account downgrades to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.
• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
• You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes all your data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
